Bright, light golden colour with some depth, a little paler on the rim. The nose is reserved in expression, with a concentrated core of lemon curd and stonefruits. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, restrained flavours of white flesh stonefruits as well as musk and lemon curd. The mouthfeel is mellow with soft acidity and rounded textures, underlined by a fine phenolic thread.
This Viognier is reserved in expression with some stone fruit, complex savoury notes, and flinty reductive flavours on a soft palate.

The fresh, full-bodied 2022 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-picked at Pakipaki, south-west of Hastings and Havelock North. Pale lemon in hue, it has strong, peachy, slightly mealy, gently oaked flavours, fresh acidity, and a dry, lively, finely balanced finish. Still youthful, it should be at its best for drinking 2025+.

A shy bouquet with soft fruit and floral enter a creamy, opulent mouthfeel, with fine-textured phenolics and a crisp finish. 93pts
